Jesus defines the Body of Christ as a group of His followers who are loving others and helping others the way He would if He were here in person. If you’re a follower of Jesus, then He has endowed you with an embedded natural ability, a gift, to bring joy to your life and the lives of others as you use it to honor Him.

These are some of the gifts:

The proclaimer is a messenger who speaks to reveal sin and bring that person to Christ.
The server is a helper who demonstrates the love of God through the doing of good deeds.
The teacher explains the love of God and the instructions He has given us to lead fulfilling lives.
An exhorter is an encourager who helps others make progress in their lives.
The giver is a provider who makes finances grow and uses them to help others.
In this next 30-minute teaching, you’ll learn about the person who has the gift of compassion or showing mercy and the person who has the organizational skills of leadership.

True joy in life comes from knowing your gifting and using it for the glory of God and the good of others.
