What is God thinking?

How could we ever know the thoughts of the actual Master of the Universe? Imagine what the thinking processes of the Creator of Everything might be like! He probably has 15,000 great ideas before breakfast.

Well, there are a few things we know.

God has a lot more going on in His brain than we do. When He thinks, He really thinks. He’s not like us. His mind doesn’t wander aimlessly chasing fruitless whims. His thoughts go somewhere and accomplish a real purpose…all the time. Every time.

When God speaks, things happen. He creates. We know this by looking at the world around us which He created by speaking it forth. And God is still speaking His thoughts.

Here’s one of the amazing things about the mind of God: It is set upon us.

Each of us!

Many of those 15,000 ideas He has before breakfast have to do with us. That’s more than our tiny minds can grasp, but it’s true. The Master of the Universe cares about us. He loves us. He thinks about us.

May this teaching draw us all closer to an accurate understanding of the person and intentions of God toward us today.
