There isn’t a person living, who hasn’t had a day of trouble.“Man is born unto trouble”(Job 5:7), and don’t ever think that you will avoid it. What God doesn’t want is for you to have trouble with your trouble. He wants us to know how to handle it. When trouble comes, this is the time to connect with God. Psalm 50:15 says,“Call upon me in the day of trouble.”
When in trouble, our first response should be to seek God, who has The Solution for all of our problems; and to each and every issue related to those problems. There is no conflict any of us could face, no problem or trouble we could ever encounter, where God hasn’t already prepared a solution for us. What’s more, his Word makes it clear that He desires to help us through these difficult times. We can trust him because He is trustworthy; He hears us and provided His name for our defense, against which Satan has no authority (Matt 28:18).
Though difficulty is an unavoidable part of our life, Jesus is our unfailing sanctuary of safety and help.
