America is looking for advice. However, America is not yielding to the instruction (advice) of the Bible. Therefore calamity is beginning to show itself more evident day after day.

A study conducted in 2012 has stunning results.

The survey, conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of American Bible Society to coincide with the release of The Financial Stewardship Bible, also found that:

• 1 in 10 Americans age 18-34 would be most inclined to take financial advice from Kim Kardashian

• 86% of Americans do not follow what the Bible says about money management

• 1 in 4 Americans (24%) who do not follow what the Bible says about money think they would have more money if they followed its advice

• 94% of Americans are unable attribute a verse from Proverbs* about the rewards of work to the Bible

The Bible is God’s instruction book for all of mankind. His love is at the core of the advice which is found in scriptures.

If we ever hope to have a nation that is prosperous and at peace, we must obey God’s commands.

One of the most powerful commands given in regards to a nation becoming whole again is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We must humble ourselves, obey the Lord and turn from our wicked ways.
