If you checked a Christian bookstore or an online seller of Christian books, you would find millions of books written to encourage and expand our understanding of God. (We need them.) Among them you would find The Knowledge of the Holy by A. W. Tozer. It’s a classic study of Who God Is. Here’s an excerpt:

“The decline of the knowledge of the holy has brought on our troubles. A rediscovery of the majesty of God will go a long way toward curing them.” 

This is absolutely true. When we recognize and rely on God, He shows up. We recognize that we are not alone, that He has redeemed us and wants to abide in us. We may be weak, but He is strong, just like the song says.

Today’s video is focused on God’s greatness. 

Scripture attests to the power of God from beginning to end. And it’s a lot to take in. In fact, we are not capable of getting our minds around it. God’s greatness is truly mind-blowing.

In this teaching, we will look at some of the most powerful examples in the Bible of God’s greatness: We will learn about the rise of Satan and how God handled him. We will look closely at the creation of the Earth itself. As we do, we will learn not only about the massive power God has, but also His attention to detail and His creativity. Most of all, we will appreciate His love in creating the earth so He could establish a family (us), and had a plan so that He didn’t lose that family.

He truly is a Great Father. A Great God.
